Motivational Resources

Where there's a successful agent, there's a personal development library.  Where there's a successful agent, there's a successful business.  Personal development is often overlooked, so it's easy to determine where things went wrong.  As with many other professions, if you're not moving up, you're moving out.  We recommend moving up with personal development.

First you need to decide what form of input you like best.  Are you an auditory person?  A visual person?  Do you like reading, watching, or listening.  For most people, we're a little of all three.  Whatever your persuasion, you need to read, watch, or listen to personal development information in your area of interest for at least one hour per day.  True, some days you might not get to it at all, then you need to make up for lost time on the days where you have more than enough time.

Fit this into your personal development plan, along with a moderate amount of physical exercise.  If you're a morning person, exercise in the morning and read for an hour at night before you go to bed.  Whichever timeframe you choose to place it in, do it for at least an hour and make it a habit.

For personal development audio, we recommend taking a visit to the nightingale.com website.  It contains many of today's popular speakers and authors and chances are, you'll find what you're looking for there.  The site contains information on the major facets of your life like personal development, business strategy, wealth building, mind & body, spiritual growth, and sales training.

For newer agents who want to get up and running fast, we recommend the 100 Days to Greatness Program by Brian Buffini.  We are Certified Mentors and trainers for the 100 Days to Greatness Program.  The program is 14 weeks of consistent training designed to make you successful from your first day in the business.  Please keep in mind that you cannot take this course on your own.  You must attend training through a Certified Mentor.  This is the elite of real estate training courses and is most likely the most powerful course you'll ever take.

For experienced agents interested in taking you business to the next level, we recommend By Referral Only.  This coaching program is designed to grow your business by referral which, in our opinion, is the best way to grow your business.  It teaches you how to generate your own leads, how to work with only the people you want to work with, and provides a number of operational methods you can choose from to take your business to the next level.

Please keep in mind that you only get out of training, what you put into it.  It's not the first time you've heard this, but it really matters here.  If you're willing to invest the time for self improvement, it's well worthwhile.  We will continue to update this page on a regular basis to keep you updated on what has worked for others, and may work for you too.  If you have a personal development recommendation, please submit it on the form below to have it included on this page....
